Let’s beat breast cancer rally!
Join us on Wednesday, 9/18/24 for this FREE event to learn about the ways we can reduce our risk of breast cancer!
We will gather in front of the Concord Point Lighthouse in Havre de Grace where the drum lines from several local high schools will help us "beat the drum" for breast cancer prevention. The Lyfe acai truck will be on site to offer up some delicious smoothies and bowls, and there will be giveaways and demonstrations from some local wellness businesses! Tickets are not necessary to attend!
The Physicians Committee recommends a 4-pronged approach to breast cancer prevention: eat plants, exercise regularly, limit alcohol, and aim for a healthy weight. These steps can also improve your health in other ways, by decreasing inflammation in the body and reducing your risk of diabetes and heart disease.
